Robert was born in Kansas City, MO, lived in Ava, MO most of his boyhood, and graduated from high school and college in Neosho, MO. After college he moved to Rogers, AR and then on to Little Rock, AR in 1978. He and his wife, Deborah, have a grown daughter and son who also live in Little Rock.
Robert started his career in the information technology industry in 1980 on IBM midrange systems as a software developer writing RPG code. He worked for several companies in Little Rock area over the next 14 years spending the last 6 at Arkansas Systems and worked to market, develop, and manage software products for the check and remittance industries.
He started ISI in 1994 as a one-man operation and continued to work as a software developer writing RPG on the IBM AS/400 on a contract basis. In 1999 while working on a solution for a small business, Robert installed a product called Microsoft Small Business Server. He found this product to be great fit for most of his customers and in 2001 ISI became a Microsoft Certified Partner.
Robert has been the technician, has evolved to the role of manager, and now sees himself as the entrepreneur for Innovative Systems, Inc.

Robert is an amateur photographer and enjoys woodworking although his wife believes his hobby is reading about how other people do woodworking. He is actively involved at his church and serves in technology areas especially at Easter during “The Kingdom.” (thekingdom.gsfbc.org)
